THE ARCHANIS STORY

STORIES THAT TEACH A LESSON

Far away in the Betreka Nebula, somewhere among the planets in the Archanis sector lived a princess called Archanis whose parents named after their sector. 

Being a spoilt child, she always want to have her way. 

When her druid parents noticed this, they decided to correct that character in her. At her next birthday she asked her parents for a very expensively packaged buffet for her and all the guests she wish to come. Her parents refused, offering her a simple lunch at home for the family. Archanis was enraged and she decided to leave home as a punishment to her parents. She sneaked into one of their interstellar shuttles that she really didn't know how to operate, pressed the wrong buttons and the craft took off. 

Whoosh....and within few hours she landed on planet earth in a deserted jungle where no one live. The auto operate craft designed to blend with any planet or place and equipped with all technological gadgets to survive on any planet where it lands; read the environment and instantly deployed necessary gadgets to clear the surrounding bush, put up perimeter defence and activate killer beams to kill any predator that attempt to come near. A few predators attempted it, they were instantly disintegrated and cremated. The rest fled. 

Archanis knew she was lost, she had no clue where she was. She didn't know how to operate the craft. The specially built craft had read this and was already transmitting its location and occupant back home to the Archanis sector command base. The craft was designed never to get lost. Archanis was still determined to have what she wanted; a lavish buffet. Fortunately, Archanians, as they are called, have same form as humans, no one would know she is not from that planet. She was dressed in alien outfit, very different from the one worn on earth. She came out of the craft and began to move, luckily for her, all wild animals had fled. No one was in the jungle. She walked for a while and came upon a deserted farmhouse, all workers had gone home. Her clothes, through walking in the bush, had become dirty and torn, she must change it. A woman's dress hung out to dry on a line in the compound. She took it, removed her dirty alien clothe and wore the one that was already dry on the line. She was now fully dressed as a human. She simply threw her alien outfit somewhere on the ground. She was beginning to get hungry. She walked past the farmhouse onto a road, she saw houses and cars going and coming.  Noise was coming from a direction, music. A party was on somewhere close. She went in that direction. It was a big house, a buffet was on, it was huge and lavish, exactly what she wanted. People were eating and drinking, no one noticed her. She blended well with the guests. 

Where Archanis came from, they had advanced technology. Plate of food you eat get suspended in the air just close enough for your hand to reach it. No one use their hand to hold plates of food. Smoothies are earthly delicacies, Archanians don't have smoothies. She had never tasted smoothies. Smoothies were in abundance at this party, they attracted Archanis attention and she proceeded to the buffet table. 

A particular one caught her attention, it looked quite delicious. No one paid attention to her. She picked up the small jug full of smoothie and threw it in the air, expecting it to stay at a level where her hand can easily reach it, as it is in her planet. Nothing of such happened. The jug fell on the floor, splashing its contents on her dress and that of a few others. That caught people's attention, heads began to turn in her direction. She didn't understand, thought it was a mistake, she picked up another jug with smoothie and threw it up again, still the same result. Those whose clothes got splashed began to insult her as they cleaned their dress, people began to come close, wondering if she had a mental problem. Two security men approached her nicely asking what was wrong. They spoke in a language she did not understand. She started talking in her Archanis language meaning "..I am hungry, I want to eat. I got lost, please help me....". But no one understood what she was saying. The host of the party, guests and security finally concluded she is a psycho who must have escaped from somewhere and proceeded to forcefully remove her to an hospital. 

Back home in Archanis, the command base had received all the Intel they needed from their craft in the jungle. They knew where she was. They activated their satellite and got her accurate location. They always have location devices in the shoes of all royalties. One was in her shoe. The nearest Archanis command base, closest to planet earth, had already deployed their ultra speed craft that could go invisible until it touches the ground. It was just a few feet away from her, but no one saw it. Five Archanis interspace operatives were inside it, fully armed. They were watching as the people were taking Archanis away. She was trying her best to explain, even with tears, but nobody understood her language. She obviously needed medical help they all concluded. The armed crew in the invisible craft reported what was happening back home, but were instructed not to engage but simply remove her and leave. The Archanians had advanced effacing technology. They can disappear people and objects. The watching Archanian crew in their invisible craft activated it. Archanis suddenly disappeared from amongst the security men leading her towards a car meant to take her to the hospital, she found herself in the Archanian invisible superspeed craft amongst the crew from her home. They immediately took off back home, the craft in the jungle also auto took off, all departed back to the Archanis sector. 

There was huge commotion at the party, the security men fell in shock as Archanis disappeared before them, people began to leave the party out of fear. The party host was confused. The Police was called and investigation began. The report reached NASA and they began to investigate what was popularly reported as alien disappearance. Russia, China, North and South Korea, Saudi Arabia and other countries also got involved. It was a phenomenon they had never seen before. Some spiritualists came with diverse explanation. Some called her water spirit, others say she was a ghost, Satanic spirit, etc. Some spiritualists were invited from Europe and Haiti to spiritually cleanse the place from spirits. Loads of candles and incense were lit, etc. Till today, NASA is still investigating the disappearance of the stranger.
