THE DEPORTATION OF 'ASSIGNMENT'

A simple story to lighten your mood. Kuicy is her name.. She is a young woman, pretty, five feet plus, chubby cheeks, average size, mild manners but quite a smart one. Her smartness had helped her find her way through several life terrain including finding her way, through illegal means, to a foreign country. Her slogan was "do your work", also her way of dodging inquisitive questions too probing for her. She will simply reply "do your work" and walk away. 

Her smartness had made life easy for her until a slip made it play a fast one on her. She decided she wanted more. She's been living in the country and working without proper papers without anyone suspecting her. Kuicy lived a simple life and able to pay her bills. She was still single. Well, she decided to embark on a new assignment that would fetch her some real income. She actually had business skills as a personal natural gift and also had a diploma in that field of study, but illegally upgraded it to a masters degree. All these she did before entering that country illegally. Everyone believed she hold a masters degree in business studies. 

She proceeded to set up a private business outfit to advice and counsel people on business, especially start-ups. She opened a simple office, decorated it with some basic office stuffs to make it look corporate and employed a young girl called kwork as her secretary. It was a simple venture, come in with your business ideas and she will help advice. She was advertised as a masters degree holder in business studies and a person on a worldwide assignment to help raise people's business and create business awareness. Her fees were moderate. Young men and women trying to start business but with no ideas came in large numbers and she genuinely advised them. She actually had the gift and did a good job. Some of her ideas actually worked for some of them and her name circulated. More people came and she made more money. A cool assignment. 

Mr Mossera was a real rich man just new in the country and interested in investing in the stock market of that country. He needed a contact. Her business office was the first place he saw and he walked in. He explained his interest and asked if she was into such. He made it clear to her that he wanted a sincere person, if she was not into such, he will simply go elsewhere to find the right person to help him. She had never been into stocks and had no idea what to do with it. She had no clue. The man had plenty money and she didn't want him to go elsewhere with it. She decided to play a smart one. She will not dupe him, but will see how she can make money off him without duping him. She doesn't do fraud anyway. She smiled and said "yes". She claimed she has ten years experience in investing in stocks and she can get him good returns in no time. She quickly opened her laptop, dug up some stock portfolio online and showed them to him as some of her interests managed by her friends in the stock market. She was so convincing, applied her business rapport and got Mr Mossera convinced. He transferred 10,000 dollars to her business account. She promised to get him a 15% returns within 2 weeks, he should just relax. He gave her his contacts and left. 

Immediately he left, Kuicy took off online and began to check advertised fast and high yielding stock portfolios. She saw a few with a promise of 20% returns in 2 weeks. One promised 30% returns in two weeks. She went for it. She calculated she will make the 30%, give Mr Mossera 15% and keep 15%. No cheating, clean business. She enlisted in the stock portfolio and transfered the 10,000 dollars. Unfortunately for her, it was a scam site. 

Well, to cut the long story short, she never got the money back. 2 weeks after, the site disappeared online. She traced the office address, went there, but it was a dilapidated and abandoned building with no one in sight. Mr Mosserra kept calling, but she couldn't pick his calls. She was in a big mess. Kuicy couldn't go to the Police, and you know why. She was also an illegal immigrant. Kwork, her staff, seeing her boss dilemma, had pity on her and told her boyfriend Ray to help her boss. Ray is a Policeman. Ray reported the matter at their fraud unit and they swung into action. They got all their facts. The fraud unit was headed by one Mr Hondi. They advised Ray to get his girlfriend Kwork out of the office else she gets entangled too, since something huge is about to go down.They approached Mr Mossera, briefed him about their findings and he was shocked. The day the fraud unit stormed Kuicy's office, Kwork was nowhere to be found. She had earlier resigned and flown away to Thailand by her boyfriend Ray. She told the unsuspecting Kuicy she was going to Thailand on tourism to watch Elephants and other games. Ray will be with her so as not to be Alone. The fraud unit arrested all the fraudsters that duped Kuicy, arrested Kuicy too for impersonation and as an illegal immigrant. The 10,000 dollars was recovered. Mr Mossera got his money back, Kuicy was deported as an illegal immigrant and the fraudsters went to jail. Today, Kuicy, a changed person, lives in Congo, works in a business outfit and married to a male nurse. She has since stopped embarking on all forms of 'smart assignment'.
