The story is set in a country in Latin America. Krestal was a neighbourhood casanova. His late father left him a lot of money while he was barely 23years of age.  His mother managed the funds for him, but passed on a few years after. Krestal was not the only child, he has four older siblings, all female. They long got married and lived with their husbands. On several occasions, they asked Krestal to move in with them so they can join hands to help plan his life and funds. Krestal refused, he hates anything discipline and control. The only person he tolerated was his mother, but since she passed on he became a lose cannon. When a husband to one of his sisters attempted to enforce discipline on him and insisted he should let his sisters run his money until he graduates and get a job and also demanded regular report of his movement and activities, Krestal began to avoid him and also bad mouthed him everywhere, calling him a gold digger, in spite of the fact that the man was a

LESSON FROM CAKE

Image
I don't know how to bake, but I enjoy pastries or whatever they are called. Cake is one of my "dig" (slang for what you like eating). Cake making culture keeps evolving, this one below, i recently ordered for my relaxation.  I like munching when studying or watching stuffs. At the end are pics of different kind of cake people now make. Quite ingenious. I got thinking and came up with a few lessons we can learn from cake.  • Cake is delicious, the taste lingers, accompanied with the right drinks, they can relax your mood, but it comes at a price. Several ingredients are combined to produce a delicious cake. If the ingredients are not complete, you won't get the kind of cake you want. Do you want to eat the cake of life ? I mean a good life without going the evil way, it is possible only if you can gather the proper ingredients and combine them in the right manner. These ingredients include :  • Vision. Clarity of purpose  • Wisdom. Assessing all

Somewhere in Nigeria.  Anthony was a criminal, a wanted person avoiding being arrested for various crimes. The law was hot in pursuit. Law enforcement agents were looking for him, therefore, he decided to leave town and relocate to another state until things cool off. He might even do better in crime in the new state where no one knows him. Travelling by road was risky, Policemen on the highway might spot him. He decided to travel by train. Many coaches, he can easily pass unnoticed among the crowd. Good idea.  Anthony goes about disguised with fake moustache, hairstyle, eyelashes, adjusted eyebrows and other stuffs he does on his appearance to look very different from who the Police is  actually looking for. It was early in the morning, he put on his disguise and arrived at the train station.  He headed confidently towards the ticketing section. Unfortunately for him, the train administration recently stopped receiving cash for tickets sales. You either buy tic

But the goal of longevity is also to live a better life, with improved mental and physical wellness and the ability to be active and independent. SAD NEWS

Recently read this news and was saddened. How can this happen ? Guess government should regulate rent here. This is not good. Please read.  By Biodun Busari Copied from  www.vanguardngr.com Many people are experiencing homelessness as housing prices and rents have increased in Canada’s real estate markets. Reports said tens of thousands have started living on the streets of Canada, which remains a top destination for immigrants and refugees. According to a new study in September, one in two homeless people in Quebec can be located in rural areas of the eastern province rather than primarily in Montreal, as was previously the case. India Times reported that in a Quebec government assessment, nearly one in every four homeless people ended up on the street after being evicted from housing. The number of homeless people in Quebec rose by 44 per cent between 2018 and 2022, reaching 10,000 last year. It said indigenous people, who make up 5% of the Canadian population, are overre

MY THOUGHT ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Image
Hello readers, guess you have been hearing of the rise in artificial intelligence.  We now have some as apps that will do virtually everything for you, no matter your profession. They will write for you, design for you, compose songs, letters, etc, for you. Just ask and they do it all. Robots are also been produced to replace humans in many endeavors. They can teach, perform surgery, play games, shop for you and do virtually all a person can do. We even have some built as real women that will do everything a woman can do. I recently got an app with so much ability as artificial intelligence that all I need to do is just sit, tell it what I want to write and it will do the rest. These virtual 'guys' can design websites, prepare presentations, answer virtually any question on any subject on earth and even teach you any food recipe you want to know. They can diagnose you and do your health check, measure your calories,...the list is endless. They even have audio functi
